Squeeze the Day
This is my entry to the Nothern Monk Homebrew 2022 Competition. Having recently done a beer label, I could not have missed out on this opportunity to possibly see one of my designs printed on a beer can. In all honesty though, I simply loved the fact that I got to create artwork featuring a knight, since I am very interested in armour, medieval and fantasy stories.
Their prompt was Squeeze the Day; I thought having a knight yielding his sword with the sun behind him could represent someone about to get an important task done.
I tried using a colour palette that translates the feeling of summer, since the beers on this contest would mostly be fruity ones.
Update: I am pleased to say I have won the contest and this artwork will be printed on a can!

Sin Eater (@sineateruk on instagram) is always a great inspiration for me; whilst looking at his work I came across this one and decided to incorporate a sun with similar design in my artwork
Album art of the dungeon synth band Depressive Silence. I took some elements of the illustrated frame for my artwork. Was also hugely inspired by the music
